What the heck is a Digging Spoon?
Imagine you’ve been buried alive and all you have to dig your way out is a spoon. Your past hurts, bad attitude, negativity, bad habits, self-doubt, lack of organization, chaos and other aspects of life that drag you down are the metaphorical dirt your true self is buried under. There is no quick fix. There’s no earth mover coming to save you. You’ve got to take that spoon and dig.
Alternately, you can lie there in fear of facing the dirt until you die.
I’m no psychologist. I’m not here to offer empty promises of healing. I have nothing to sell you. I’m just a woman that’s forgiven some monstrous hurts, overcome some really painful events and made a commitment to improving my life.
This blog is my digging spoon. This is where I unearth the things I’ve overcome, the things I’m working on, and the things I discover in the process. Realizations. Nuggets of useful info. Relateable topics. Resources. Other things that crop up along the way. Overuse of the word things may ensue. Also stuff. Stuff and things. Like Rick on TWD. Which makes it acceptable.
